Here’s how to plan your visit
  • The Amelia Douglas Institute invites you to book a visit via our booking link.
  • If the times you wish to visit do not appear on the booking, please contact us to check about our availability in person here
  • We only have a small space, although it is full of stories. If you wish to bring more than 10 people per booking, please contact us here
  • Due to our staffing, we can accommodate you for one hour’s time. Please aim to arrive promptly for your scheduled visit.
Some cautions
  • Food, drink, and non-service animals are not allowed in the gallery space.
  • Please note that any photographs taken in the gallery must be for personal use only, and close ups of artwork are not to be shared on social media, the internet or anywhere else without permission from the artist or Director of the Amelia Douglas Institute.
  • If you cannot make your booked visit, please cancel or reschedule with as much advanced notice as possible.
How to get here
  • The gallery space is located in Gateway Station Tower, next to the Gateway Skytrain Station on the Expo Line. There is underground paid accessible parking. We are located on the 3rd floor, which is accessible by elevator.
  • Additional paid street parking is available outside of the building.
  • If you have any accessibility needs for visiting the space, please let us know when booking or via email.
Admissions
  • For Métis citizens: admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5, per person.
  • For general admission: $5 minimum donation, per person.
  • Admission payment can be made at the Institute at the time of your visit. We accept cash, credit and debit.
